Trump wants to give a gift to his Southern GOP/fundie cronies. He wants states to be able to discriminate against anyone other than Christian heterosexual white couples. This is bullshit.
The only problem I see is some gentle kid getting the crap beat out of him in the boy's room. Pretty serious problem, and it will lead to lawsuits in those states.
The spread of genderless bathrooms should show how ridiculous the whole where-you-piss issue is.
Otherwise, I think it's ok for the states to decide. No real need for Washington to rule on this.
I disagree, I think it should be the law of the land. We're either promoting equality for all everywhere or not. As far as the gentle timid kid getting beat up for being gentle and timid, what's so new about that? It's not their fault it's the perpetrators that are responsible and reprehensible. If they need to be bullies, then throw them in jail and if they're rich, then run them for president on the GOP ticket.
I'm just saying that it's not the end of the world, and the genderless bathroom will soon render the issue moot.

We shall see. What especially gets me about this is that it's pushed along with the weight of the Attorney General. And Sessions is all about being the fearful racist discriminatory type we were warned about. I don't see where this gets any better either until there's some sort of check on Congress, the Senate, and POTUS. Until the Democrats take back something, it's all regression. And yes it does piss me off, because as a country we are now running backwards and it is so unnecessary and pitiful. It's unwanted as well, 3,000,000 more voters said so.

Meanwhile there's a movement toward gender-free restrooms.

You're just blowing off steam.

Yah, Sessions is a piece of work. His first accomplishment, against trans kids.
It's already in court, love to see this overthrown.
