The Market On Thursday

Good morning. It is 37 degrees and cloudy here in the Upper Hudson Valley. The forecast is predicting sunshine and the temperature up around 60 degrees today. I am totally psyched for that. It was very interesting reading the message boards especially those on the right regarding the bigot pizza shop in Indiana. The right is framing the uproar over Indiana's new legalized bigotry law as a show of how 'intolerant' liberals are! Intolerant, now that is rich. Using this same logic, or non logic as it were, one would condemn Jews who objected to being shipped out to concentration camps as being intolerant. The radical right in this country is a piece of work.

At 8:30 a.m. futures are moderately lower and the price of oil is down around $48.50 a barrel. The market is poised to open lower.

Wall Street will be closed tomorrow for Good Friday just before the Easter weekend. The all expected government jobs report for March will also come out tomorrow. It's been a poor week on Wall Street with severe losses and there appears to be a downward trend. On the other hand, how the market begins and how it ends is always unpredictable.
