Several of the present GOP candidates are Dominionist Christians. The main point of the Dominionist is to establish Christian fundamentalism throughout the world because God cannot do it unassisted. That sounds fine in the sense of establishing a religious sect in many countries but this is not the case. The point is to eliminate other religions. Compare it to a war scenario where the victor forces the vanquished to completely accept the victor's conditions.
