Trumpf is a micro-manager for the things he's obsessed with. You can bet he knew every detail of the whole Russia deal, all of them. He's deeply embedded in the Russian system and for all practical purposes, a Russian agent and Russian owned shill. He does the bidding of Putin and the Russian Oligarchs or else. His slavish obedience to them is up front and obvious. His base is nothing more or less than a pack of useful idiots.
That's pretty much my conclusion as well. It's rather amazing that none of this has penetrated into the minds of his supporters. They are running on a completely different type of gas, thinking that Trump is a sincere operator, in fact the only sincere operator, in a world of deep state paranoia and evil conspiracies, along with a boatload of racist and sexist views.
