Two more years of this unimaginable shit show is almost unbearable to think about. Sadly, replacing him with Pence have even worse implications for the country. Pence is desperately trying to distance himself from Trumpf on the one hand and on the other he has to make sure he's seen by Trumpf's rabid base as the loyal sycophant. It's a tough row to hoe the last guy in this hot seat ( Rudolf Hess) flew a plane to Scotland to try and end WW2. He ended up in prison for the remainder of his miserable life. Let's hope the same thing happens to Pence. The GOPutin has already signaled Trumpf he might have to ditch Pence for someone totally clean of ay Russiagate involvement. A similar thing happened to Nixon with Agnew before he went down.
Seth Abramson has two nice interview style articles over at Salon, I've posted them here. In the second one he talks about how Trump will try to use the idea that everything he did was done to promote peace. Of course it's complete bullshit but everything Trump is doing or has done is bullshit. Abramson also believes that in time Trump's treachery will be made public and that he goes down as the most treacherous person in US history. It makes sense to me now more and more. Trump is willing to swim with sharks as long as they can provide funds. He's basically a billionaire groupie.
