More Rampant Than Ever

Guardian UK: Conspiracy theories are more rampant than ever. Can they be stopped? Americans’ beliefs about politics are as inaccurate and bizarre as ever. Is there a way to fix that?

Once you hammer flat Objectivity and declare all sources of info legit the door opens to madness very quickly. The 20th Centniry should be living proof of that. All you need remove after removing objective truth ( like science) is tolerance for others opinions and your on the road to WAR.

It's quite nuts out there, and what is surprising is how gullible people are too. That is quite shocking to me. There's a wide swath of people who seem to pretend to exist in some kind of alternative reality. I get equally pissed actually. I have some leftist friends who seem rather unrealistic to me. There was this one guy who was advocating not voting for anyone. To me this is nuts. We live in America, we don't live in some alternate country in an alternate universe. We have two miserable parties and useless third parties. The only role the Green Party has is to help the GOP win. What happens matters, what politicians do now have effects throughout society. All these people that are still going on about Jill Stein, now that just floors me. It's a case where stubbornness 'trumps' reality.
