Timing is everything. The GOP has an entire year to shore up its weakened fronts. Trumpf 's actions will be critical here. If he cared about the GOP he'd retire and let Pence head the party. Of course, he won't do that and my guess is he will do something like fire Mueller instead.

Here's the basic problem - Trump. Trump won't be able to shore up shit because he's Trump. He's an utter failure, out of his depth, he's a fraud, and he's got nothing but more divisiveness. Not sure if he fires Mueller or not, this is what the next year is all about, it's going to be big and definitely interesting.
