Tony knows Trumpf well and he knows how potentially dangerous he is. I still think he will FIRE Mueller and fairly soon maybe before XMAS even before Thanksgiving. Most people would say that would be extremely self-destructive on his part , but I don't think he'll see it that way. All he'll see in his rage when he does it is a threat that has to be dealt with the way he deals with such threats. What will come of that action is anybody's guess? He's a gambler and think he'll gamble that the rest of us will back down and let him have his way. That , yes we hate him and given an opportunity to VOTE against him or even march around for a few days in the streets angry we'll do that but NOTHING else. He, on the other hand, will use the chaos that ensues to get rid of anyone he deems even remotely disloyal. It will be his version of Hitler's infamous Night of the Long Knives in 1933. Mueller goes, Sessions, Rosenstein, Tillerson and others will also go and be replaces with even more fanatical and sycophantic supporters.

Could be, it is possible. One thing Trump clearly does not have is momentum, that's compared to him getting elected one year ago and setting up his kingdom in DC. There are constraints on Trump. There's still the media and especially the good investigative journalists, there's the blue states and a swarm of politicians including GOPers who resist him. One thing that is different between now and 1930s Germany, is the media and the internet. News travels fast and this is important. There really is fake news out there as we know and most of it comes from Trump world and it is refuted instantly. We are learning how Russia manipulates and in that process the shit detector is improving.
