Every presidential administration has its deadbeats and dysfunctions. None that I’ve observed has an ethos of abject servility like Trump’s.

Like most authoritarian bullies, Trumpf wants and expects total loyalty of the mindless servile variety. He's surrounded himself for decades with a staff of ass kissing toadies and shills and doesn't get any other kind of service. I know people who have worked closely with him and the picture isn't pretty.
As contemptible as Trump is, so are his close advisers. I mean Bannon? Miller? FFS.
