It goes NOWHERE. Trumpf's base thinks McCain is the traitor! Fox and Limbaugh have done a spectacular job of dumbing these people down.

Depends. If McCain is able to pick away, pick away, pick away, he keeps a certain amount of pressure on Trump world. Trump is no doubt livid at McCain and when emotion is in the mix, a slip up is sure to follow.
