Good morning. It is sunny and 54 degrees here in the Upper Hudson Valley, the forecast predicts a cloudy day with temperatures in the 60s this afternoon. The forecast also predicts rain, rain, rain right through the weekend and Monday, but the temperatures will be up in the 70s and 80s next week.
At 9:05 a.m. ET DOW futures are -10 and the price of oil per barrel is up. The market is poised to open modestly lower.
The atrocities under Trump continue to keep up. This morning Trump threatened Comey. I mean WTF? The bottom line that I see is that Trump is eroding the patience and spirit of the country. The integrity of the government is being frayed. Keeping up with his threats and outright screwy lies is fatiguing. He is pushing the entire country into a state of depression. This is not fun.
