Trump’s unprecedented degree of out-and-out lying to the American people about things large (a conspiracy to cover up terrorist attacks) and small (crowd size) — especially stated in the presence of the intelligence community (as he did at CIA headquarters the day after his disappointing inauguration turnout) and the military — raises the legitimate concern that we cannot rely on the president’s words or assume his perceptions are accurate.

We all sadly know people like Trump many of us have a family member like him. Lying for them is just who they are is as best as I can put it. They create their own reality and expect everyone around them to accept it. They get angry when they're challenged on this behavior some of them get violent even. Yes, one has been elected President. It had to happen sooner or later, but why when I'm alive?
He's delusional - "characterized by or holding idiosyncratic beliefs or impressions that are contradicted by reality or rational argument, typically as a symptom of mental disorder." He really has to vacate the office, before four years go by otherwise we are all going to be needing PTSD treatment, the entire population.
The real shit is going to hit the fan when an Emergency develops and this guy comes under stress and has to make a scary call on something. His inclination is to reach for a hammer to solve everything. He's known in the business world as being a brute.
Yes, I agree. He's not someone who takes the long deliberative carefully weighed approach. He is reactive and this plays to his followers both close to him and his supporters who voted for him. Everything I read points to his regime's need to blame Muslims, Latinos etc and his determined interest in taking the fight to them so to speak. When we face the first misery catastrophe that can be blamed on (in ranking order of his priority) Muslims, China, Latinos, blacks, - blamed by Trump in the midst of the country's despair, he will reach for the big hammer. There's nothing in place right now to stop it either.
