Fog Lifts Slightly

The shock of a Trump win is settling down a bit. It's sort of like living with the foreboding stress of having to go in for surgery in two months; this sticky dread that one can feel, like having to go to a funeral.

I'm sorry to say this but I think the country is going to experience four solid years of social unrest and protest. Already there are major protests in major cities surrounding a Trump victory. This happened last night in NYC with the march ending at Trump Tower. With Guiliani and Christie in roles like Attorney General and such, one might suspect the police and FBI will be given carte blanche freedom to react to the protests. I won't spell out the results, as we have seen this before. So, we go down and we go up. Half the population will support Trump and some will even get in on the action, White supremacists, militias, these people. Half will resist. The ground for this scenario is already there.
