The Market On Friday

Good morning. It is 57 degrees and cloudy almost raining, here in the Upper Hudson Valley. Thank goodness it is the weekend. I would have to say without a doubt that this last week has been one of the shittiest weeks I can recall, ever. Here's the good news, the week is over. Sure lots of misery will occur today but there is a beginning and an ending, we are at the ending. We lost several of the most loved people in the world, there's flooding, cruel oppressive police state activity in Ferguson, wars all over the globe, drought, and on and on. I know you feel it too. I would not be surprised if the highly sensitive brilliant astrologer predictor type people know what it's all about.

At 9:00 a.m. ET futures are modestly higher and the price of oil per barrel is up. The market is poised to open higher.

For reasons that completely elude us, the market is in a recovery mode up from a roughly 1,000 drop in the DOW. Saturday can't come fast enough.
