The Market On Tuesday

Good morning. It is 75 degrees, humid, and overcast here in the Upper Hudson Valley. Rain is expected today. We see that employees at Disney, Universal Studios, and SeaWorld have been arrested on pedophile related charges. This is sickening. Turns out that the pedophiles go where the children gather. If you were the parent of a young child would you take your children to one of these places now for a Summer get-a-way. Those places are going to take a large revenue hit and have to somehow try to rebuild confidence among the American public. This is very creepy.

At 8:30 a.m. ET futures are modestly higher and the price of oil per barrel is down. The market is poised to open higher.

Investors will continue to parse second quarter corporate reports. So far it looks like it's all been positive. In addition Fed Chairperson Janet Yellen will speak before the Senate this morning on Fed monetary policy. That is big deal and her words will resonate through the markets today.
