The last laugh though is on Bernie here. The truth is the 1% is doing just that to the rest of us. They've built a political machine by buying every major Gov't on Earth and then they've made sure they own almost everything and anything of value. They are in the process now of looting and gutting all the public assets they can plunder under the guise of the term Privatization. What this really means is anything of value any State on Earth claims is part of its PUBLIC COMMONS is to be grabbed up for pennies on the dollar and sold to these huge Corp. monsters. In the end their will be only the PRIVATE world and the 1% will own 99% of it and they will then dump the rest of us. So sorry Bernie you a bit late on this one. We've been beat to the punch as they say.
Unfortunately I think you are correct here. I can't disagree with anything. It's interesting out of nowhere and all of a sudden, Albany has become a huge hub for the oil trains out of the Dakotas. The trains line 787 which runs along the Hudson. That's where all the poor people live, of course. People are up in arms, but nothing is going to change, all they will get is a promise of safety. The oil spills have already started, and who knows what's not reported. Just a matter of time before the river catches on fire. People have no control over this.
