This is good. Men like Branson are highly respected innovators and pioneers and have great reputations world-wide. We need more Branson's and his ilk to step forward and defend the scientific community here. The right has been making a full scale assault on science and not just in the climate area. They've nosed into other critical areas as well and its way past time for some of our notables in fields besides politics to step up to bat here to counter this attack.

I would agree - time for the science/business/innovator elite to step forward and not worry about the wrath from the wrong. Make it a deafening chorus to wake up.
