I got real bad news for everyone, we are on a very steep rising curve now as regards climate change. Things are going to start to really pick up steam from here on. Unfortunately, it's too late to change much of what is about to happen.
It certainly seems that way. As a society we have a lot of work to do on resetting our priorities.
Nature will re-order them ( priorities) as time goes on and things visibly change. The first "ice free" Arctic Ocean summer in a million yrs., when it comes in a few more yrs. will be one of the wake up calls. Unfortunately, that event will signal the beginning of a series of feedback loops in the climate system that will boost things even more each forcing this to the next stage.
