Fess Up Romney

As the article points out, Romney probably took advantage of in place tax laws that allow the super rich to pay low taxes. At best Romney is risking showing the world that he payed between 10% and 15% in taxes, a percentage well below the average Joe. At worst, Romney could show the world that he paid 0% in taxes using the tricks of highly paid accountants to justify this amount. Either way, although he is probably in compliance with the law, he would face a political problem although by refusing to show more returns he already has an equally hard political problem. He should just get it over, release his returns, and then count on the short term memory problems of the electorate who will indeed forget about it.
