I love to ride them , but honestly they make me feel stupid and all thumbs. I went and bought a Kryptonite lock for it today and even figuring out how to put it on the bike took me hrs. When he talked about building a whole special order bike in two hrs.I had to laughed. Yea, maybe he can do that after putting together hundreds of them. I can't even adjust the damn brakes on a modern 10 speed bike. I love the Video but really how realistic was it for the average person?; 5:16 PM
Jim Sande said...: I am big into bikes too. At one time I would ride 30 to 100 miles at a time. Rode out to Martha's Vineyard, stuff like that. I also worked in a bike shop in my 20s.

This shop is for people with money and an interest in something special. Its not your run of the mill thing. He probably gets a good buy on parts if he is buying them in quantity, but for you and I to build a bike from parts is very expensive. Its cheaper to buy a good bike and add a few things here and there.; 6:06 PM
