The Market On Wednesday

Spring is taking hold more and more. The flowering trees are transitioning to leaves, and the late blooming trees are looking plucky.

At 7:45 a.m. futures are mixed. The DOW is down and considering Apple filled several silos with money in the first quarter, the NASDAQ is up. The dollar is mixed and oil is slightly up.

Will Morgan Stanley and Well Fargo show outrageous profits, moderate gains, or losses before the opening bell....

If its the former the market might start out with a cannon ball shot.

The word is first quarter profits and so far investors are pleased.

...tempered by caution over upcoming results in the financial sector.


On Wednesday, Morgan Stanley and Wells Fargo are both due to post quarterly results before U.S. markets open.

U.S. stocks rose on Tuesday as oil prices lifted energy shares and investors were upbeat about the overall corporate profits recovery, even as some the results of some high-profile companies fell short of lofty expectations.
