This Older Abode
This weekend we are going to try and get a garden happening.
We have to plot it out, turn over soil, improve soil, fence it off from deer, all of that stuff.
This will be our first vegetable garden. We did have a flower garden at the last place but the yard was so shady that vegetables did not figure in.
We do have a sunny spot in this yard.
Its either get it going this weekend or probably let it go for another year.
This house is a full time job...

I put in my 31st Veggie and flower garden this yr. It's worth every moment. Just getting your hands into the soil is good for you. I could probably buy the veggies cheaper from a farm market, but their is nothing like your own stuff, right from the garden. One suggestion , make sure you put in some strawberry plants and blackberries up your way.
Will do. We had fun today. I used to do this stuff when I was a kid, funny how its sort of coming back to me.
