Tonight I am drowning my troubles in a bed of Haagen Dazs minis.
Have you seen these things yet. Its about two tablespoons worth of the premium ice cream at a buck a shot. What fiends these Haagen Dazs people are, preying on weak willed ingrates like myself.
We lost another excellent friend today. It must be something about the ravages of being in your 50s. People are dying, man, they are going fast, cripes. She was a senior but still we will miss her.
It has been one helluva year for the departed. Almost everybody I know lost someone close. Six of my friends or relatives gone in the last year alone, six.
Anyhow, have an excellent night. Its time to hit hay.

I'm sorry for your loss, friend. :( It's a bitch getting old. Take it from one who knows, I hurt every waking minute of the day. I can't run for shit anymore, nor do most of the things I loved. Still, life is as the old TV Priest used to say, it's is worth livin.
Thanks for your concern. We get older and the close acquaintance pool shrinks. And yes I would agree, life is worth living.
