Iraqi Justice? Hey, it could have been worse, he would have been executed if Saddam had still been in power. Now he'll only be tortured. Progress, Iraqi style. Was this kind of progress worth the lives of hundreds of thousands?
I opposed that war from the start. A group of us did our protest along with a huge crowd on the first day of the war, right at the NY capitol. That was one of the worst days in recent times, very depressing. Anybody who looked behind the news knew that the thing was all media hype pushed by the neocons. Yet the media played along like good little children.
ON that day I told my boss I was against the war and he threatened to fire me.
